Near-Gem 1877-S Trade Dollar
1877-S T$1 MS64 PCGS. Splashes of peripheral iridescence enhance the natural golden-ivory surfaces of this frosty silver trade dollar. All of the design elements are bold and the surfaces are pristine. The date is not difficult to locate in Choice Mint State grade, but is nearly impossible to find any finer. We consider an MS64 example of the 1877-S trade dollar to be an excellent value.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 253E, PCGS# 7046, GSID# 7383)
