Description

1878-S T$1 MS62 NGC. The Trade dollar issues of 1878 would prove to be the last for all Mints save Philadelphia, which continued the design in proof for several more years. This 1878-S example shows pleasing detail and vibrant luster on the reverse, though the silver-gray obverse is slightly subdued. Pleasing despite a number of wispy abrasions.
