Description
Elusive Gem 1878-S Trade Dollar
1878-S T$1 MS65 PCGS. CAC. Our consigner tells us that this is the Eliasberg coin, and it appears to match the plate except that the lightly mottled delicate golden toning described in the catalog is no longer evident. Nevertheless, it is an elusive Gem specimen of the otherwise plentiful 1878-S Trade dollar, with brilliant silver surfaces and exceptional eye appeal.
