    Description

Frosty and Bright 1875-CC Trade Dollar

1875-CC T$1 MS63 PCGS. Type One Reverse. This coin is bright and lustrous, with abundant frost on Liberty and the eagle. Untoned save for a splash of hazy gold beneath Liberty's outstretched hand, and hints of medium gold along the dentils. Identifiable by a chatter mark between the seventh and eighth stars and a couple of others between the third star and her knee. A raised die lump is present on Liberty's right arm above her elbow. On the reverse there is a minor speck on the eagle's tail, otherwise that side is blazing white in color. Scarce in any mint state grade, and the present coin has strong eye appeal for the collector who appreciates luster.
