    1877 T$1 PR65 Deep Cameo PCGS. Breen-5808. This is a scarcer proof variant that shows minor repunching on the upper right foot of the 1 and the base of the 8 in the date, which are diagnostic of this variety. Bowers (1993) states that "only a small number of [proof 1877 Trade Dollars] are of this variety." The surfaces are brilliant throughout and the fields deeply mirrored. Contrasted against the flashy proof mirrors are the heavily frosted devices that give the coin its exceptional cameo effect. Very scarce as such. Population: 2 in 65 Deep Cameo, 0 finer (7/06).
