    Description

Impeccable 1879 Proof Trade Dollar PR66 Cameo NGC

1879 T$1 PR66 Cameo NGC. Tremendous quality in a proof Trade dollar. The fields show illimitable depth of reflectivity and the devices are well frosted, which produces a strong white-on-black contrast on each side. The striking details are beyond reproach, even for a proof, and the surfaces are impeccably preserved. From the first of the proof-only years at the end of the Trade dollar series, only 1,541 pieces were struck. This Premium Gem belongs in a collection of the highest quality.
