    Description

1875 20C MS64 PCGS. The right edge of the 1 in the date points to the right of the shield point, the sole pick-up point to identify the BF-1 variety. Curved die lines near Liberty's head suggest the die was recently repolished to strike proofs as well as business strikes. The semiprooflike surfaces reveal only tiny, incidental marks and a razor-sharp strike throughout. A hint of gold toning occupies the margins. Population: 66 in 64 (3 in 64+), 29 finer (1/16).
