Shining Gem 1875 Twenty Cent

1875 20C MS65 PCGS. A shining Gem representative of this first-year Philadelphia twenty cent issue, boldly struck with flashy fields that show glimpses of golden toning. Business strike production at the mother Mint in 1875 was limited to 36,910 pieces, largely because the twenty cent piece was seen as a solution to a particularly Southwestern coinage problem.(Registry values: N2998)
