Description

1875-S 20C MS63 NGC. A relatively high number of these odd-denomination pieces were struck at the San Francisco Mint in 1875. The total mintage was 1,155,000 business strikes, and Mint State survivors are fairly numerous. This example is rather weakly struck, especially on the obverse, and displays subdued satin luster. Surface marks are minimal for the grade, however. (Registry values: N1793)
