Colorful Gem 1875-S Twenty Cent
1875-S 20C MS65 NGC. MPD-003. The top of an 8 is misplaced within the denticles beneath the 8 in the date. This wonderful type Gem is mounted reverse-up in the holder, the better to display the vivid green-gold, azure, and magenta patina that graces that side. The subtle apricot and pearl-gray shadings of the obverse are also attractive.
