    Description

1875-S 20C MS64 PCGS Secure. BF-16. The mintmark is repunched on this variety, and a heavy die crack circumnavigates the reverse periphery. The 1875-S twenty cent piece is a favorite for type purposes, and Choice examples such as this are the ideal collector grade. Traces of light golden toning grace each side, the obverse being frosty and the reverse semiprooflike. Some strike softness affects the border stars and the upper portion of the eagle's left (facing) wing.(Registry values: N1793) (NGC ID# 23R7, PCGS# 5298)
