1877 20C PR64 PCGS. BF-1, R.3. A proof-only issue, from a mintage of just 510 pieces. This Choice proof type coin displays a sharp strike and reflective fields, with original olive-green and gold peripheral toning. The centers display dusky lavender toning. The patina is original, masking a few trivial marks. The 1877 twenty cent piece is scarce in finer condition.
