Gem Small Motto Two Cent Piece
1864 Small Motto MS 65 Brown NGC. A pleasing example of this scarce, key issue. The obverse was struck from a slightly misaligned die, and the surfaces overall are glossy olive-green and brown. Well struck in general with slight softness on the left portion of each side. Population: 12 in 65, none are finer (7/98).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22N8, PCGS# 3579, Greysheet# 2677)
