Challenging Small Motto Variety
1864 2C Small Motto, FS-401, MS65 Red and Brown NGC. CAC.
The 1864 Small Motto is a first-year key and important single-year
type. This delightful Red and Brown Gem Uncirculated survivor
boasts added CAC approval for quality within the grade.
Golden-brown and pumpkin-orange colors blend over each side,
merging with soft, satiny mint luster and reddish-violet accents at
the central reverse. Carbon is minimal. Encapsulated in a prior
generation holder. Census: 54 in 65 (1 in 65+ Red and Brown, 1 in
