1864 Small Motto Two Cent Piece
FS-401, MS65 Red and Brown

1864 2C Small Motto, FS-401, MS65 Red and Brown NGC. The key date 1864 Small Motto two cent piece is attributed by the presence of the leaf stem, and the first T of TRUST being closer to the ribbon. Delectable orange-gold luster radiates from minimally marked surfaces that display some localized "browning." The strike is solid throughout. A few light freckles are noted on the obverse. NGC Census: 58 in 65 (1 in 65+, 1 in 65?), 17 finer (12/25).
