Description
1864 2C Small Motto MS63 Brown NGC. FS-401, formerly FS-000.5. This sharply struck Select representative has ample glimpses of orange-gold, particularly on the obverse. The reverse is predominantly medium brown, as are portions of the obverse. The introductory Small Motto subtype was only coined briefly, and constitutes a mere fraction of the 1864 two cent production.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22N8, PCGS# 3579, GSID# 2677)
