1865 2C Fancy 5 MS65+ Red and Brown PCGS. Plum and auburn overtones largely yield to brighter coppery-orange hues on each side of this Plus-graded Gem. The wreaths are sharply impressed and careful study fails to reveal any obvious abrasions. A single carbon speck lives near the obverse rim above GOD. Population: 5 in 65 (1 in 65+) Red and Brown, 1 finer (5/15).Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 38257, Base PCGS# 3583, Greysheet# 213357)
