1865 2C Plain 5 MS66 Red PCGS. Plain 5. The 18 in the date is repunched north. Well struck except for the second A in AMERICA. The bright copper-gold surfaces are lustrous and essentially free from carbon. Seemingly pristine aside from trivial contact near the upper portion of the second vertical shield stripe. A great type coin that boasts fully Red surfaces. Population: 2 in 66 Red, 0 finer (3/16).
