Mint State 1867 Doubled Die Two Cents
1867 Doubled Die Obverse MS 63 Red and Brown NGC. A select example of this scarce re-hubbing error. The doubling is most obvious on the motto and leaves to the left of the shield. The majority of the coin is red with other areas of mottled brown toning. Definitely a Condition Census coin. Population: 1 in 63, 1 finer (1/99).Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 3595, GSID# 2690)
