Description
1871 2C MS65 Red and Brown NGC. Sun-gold color controls a majority of the obverse, while most of the reverse has ceded to chestnut-gray shades. Unabraded and well struck. The 1871 is a better date, since mintages for the denomination had declined steadily since its 1864 introduction.
