Rare Gem Brown 1872 Two Cent Piece
1872 2C MS65 Brown PCGS. CAC. A scant 65,000 business strikes were struck for the 1872, only a tiny percentage of the nearly 20 million pieces coined in 1864, the first year of the denomination. The present fully struck and unabraded Gem displays deep chocolate-brown toning with sea-green and lilac-red undertones.
