    1871 2C PR66 Red and Brown NGC. Proof 1871 two cent pieces are scarce in Premium Gem condition, regardless of color designation. This is among the finest Red and Brown coins at NGC, and it leans heavily toward the Red end of the spectrum with rose-gold hues. A dusting of violet toning on each side prevents a Red designation.
