    1873 2C Closed 3 PR64 Red and Brown NGC. CAC. The Closed 3 proofs were struck early in the year, with Open 3 examples minted later in the year. This is a proof-only issue that concluded production of the two-cent denomination. This Choice proof has splashes of brown toning on brilliant orange mint surfaces, creating excellent eye appeal. CAC: 12 in 64, 59 finer (3/20).(Registry values: N1793)
