William McKinley Second Inaugural Medal, Choice AU Uncertified. Dusterburg OIM 1B44, MacNeil WMcK 01-3. Bronze, 44 mm, 53.1 gm. Obverse bust of McKinley part left, around SECOND INAUGURATION OF WILLIAM McKINLEY. Reverse U.S. Capitol in center, around WILLIAM McKINLEY PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES - THEODORE ROOSEVELT VICE-PRESIDENT. MAR. 4, 1901 in exergue. Only 4,000 or so pieces were struck of this scarce medal. This piece show much luster remaining, despite some light highpoint rub, and there are no surface impairments visible.Auction Info
