A fascinating off-metal Pattern Proof set struck from a miniscule mintage of just 100 pieces for each denomination, featuring the proud bust of Uruguayan national hero José Gervasio Artigas. While the occasional individual piece comes to market every so often, rarely do we get the opportunity to offer a full set, the last of which we've seen being in 2013 in lesser tiers of preservation. With each displaying a near or full Gem Mint State designation, we anticipate an elevated level of bidding for this curious set.
