John XXIII gold Medal (1958), STS-33, 43 mm gold medal of Pope John XXIII regarding the 100th anniversary of Lourdes. The obverse displays the Pope's bust left, while the reverse has Christ standing with supplicating subjects behind--some on knees, and some carrying others. There are a few handling marks; regardless, it is very deeply struck with a frosted bust.Auction Info
