Description
Republic silver Proof Essai 50 Centavos 1873 PR62 NGC, Paris mint, KM-E13. Obv. Head of Simon Bolivar left with ESSAI in tiny letters near the edge between 7 and 8 o'clock. Sharply defined devices, with a mostly white obverse and a reverse displaying mottled reddish-brown patina. The mirrored surfaces are muted by a cloudy haze and light contact marks are apparent on both sides. An extremely rare issue, with only three pieces certified in Essai by NGC.Metal: Silver
