Description

1916-S Walker, MS64
Scarcest of the First-Year Issues

1916-S 50C MS64 PCGS. Scarcest of the three 1916 Walkers, just over a half-million pieces were struck and, as usual, few were set aside at the time of issue. The surfaces display coarse, matte-like granularity with the expected overlay of mint frost. The obverse has speckled golden toning while the reverse is nearly brilliant.
