1917-D Half Dollar, MS64
Obverse Mintmark, CAC-Endorsed
1917-D 50C Obverse Mintmark MS64 PCGS. CAC. The 1917-D
obverse mintmark half dollar is available through MS64, but
challenging in Gem and rare any finer. This Choice Walking Liberty
shows a thin overlay of champagne toning on illuminating mint
frost. Occasional hints of lavender and splashes of amber and
emerald on the reverse complement delightful eye appeal. A bold
strike reveals partial thumb separation on Liberty's branch hand
and good detail on the eagle's trailing leg feathers. A loupe
