1917-D 50C Obverse MS63 PCGS. The 1917-D Mintmark on Obverse variety has a mintage of less than half of its Mintmark on Reverse counterpart. This lustrous Gem exhibits a dusting of violet and russet around the rims, with streaks of hazel throughout. A faint vertical die crack passes below the eagle's neck and bisects most of the reverse. Scattered abrasions define the grade, but none are worthy of individual mention. Crisply struck save for a touch of softness on the centers, as usual.
