1917-D Half Dollar, MS65
Reverse Mintmark; Rare in Gem
1917-D 50C Reverse Mintmark MS65 NGC. Pleasing lavender-gold
toning dapples much of each side and is complemented by vibrant
cartwheel luster and minimal signs of contact. The strike is sharp.
The 1917-D Reverse Mintmark Walking Liberty half dollar is scarce
in Gem condition, and finer pieces are major rarities. NGC Census:
29 in 65 (3 in 65+), 4 finer (2/26).Ex: Dallas Signature (Heritage, 12/2023), lot 3325.(Registry values: N4719)
