1917-D Reverse Walker, MS64
A Scarce and Underrated Issue
1917-D 50C Reverse MS64 PCGS. The 1917-D is a scarce and
underrated early Walker, especially when compared to the more
heavily saved Obverse Mintmark. On this piece the mint luster is
brighter and more of a frosted nature than the usually seen satiny
finish. The features are strongly struck throughout with the only
weakness on the head of Liberty (slight) and the upper skirt lines
(as always on early Walkers). Brilliant throughout.From The Helen Gates Kirk Collection.(Registry values: N2998)
