Description

1918 Half Dollar, MS65
Lustrous Lavender Toning

1918 50C MS65 PCGS. Ex: Betty's Walkers. Radiant mint luster illuminates vibrant hues of lavender and amber on this attractive 1918 Walking Liberty half dollar. The issue of just over 6.6 million pieces is one of the better-produced early halves of the series, yet it is conditionally scarce over MS65. This lightly toned Gem is well-struck and produces a lustrous cartwheel effect. Only a few light abrasions define the grade, and PCGS reports only 26 numerically finer pieces (11/25).(Registry values: N1793)
