Description
Sharp, Frosty Gem 1918 Walking Liberty Half
1918 50C MS65 PCGS. The 1918 Walking Liberty half dollar is one of the better-produced early halves in the series, but despite a mintage exceeding 6.6 million coins, few examples are found in grades above MS65. The present piece shows frosty surfaces that are typical for the date, with a sharp strike and just a few light, grade-consistent abrasions. PCGS has certified seven examples finer (8/08).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24PV, PCGS# 6574, GSID# 6700)
