Description

1918-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar, MS64
Seldom Encountered Any Finer

1918-D 50C MS64 PCGS. Ex: Betty's Walkers. From an adequate mintage of 3.8 million pieces, the 1918-D Walking Liberty half dollar is still an elusive issue in high grade, due to chronic striking problems and excessive surface marks. This impressive Choice example displays a bold strike, with clear separation between the thumb and finger on the wreath hand. The lustrous surfaces are unusually well-preserved. PCGS has graded 38 numerically finer examples (11/25).(Registry values: N2998)
