Description

Sharply Struck 1918-S Half, MS64

1918-S 50C MS64 NGC. Even though more than 10 million examples were struck of the 1918-S half, this is an issue that is rarely available in high grades. In fact, a relatively sharp MS64, such as this piece, is generally the finest a collector will have the opportunity to purchase. This is a strongly struck coin that has lovely, frosted mint luster. Each side is brilliant for the most part, except for a slight accent of golden at the margins.(Registry values: N1793)
