1919 Half Dollar, AU58
Low-Mintage P-Mint, CAC
1919 50C AU58 PCGS. CAC. The 1919 Walking Liberty half has
one of the lower mintages of the series. The 962,000 pieces were
struck just as the U.S. entered into a post-war economic recession
leaving Mint State examples challenging, and Gem and finer pieces
scarce. This near-Mint Walker displays a delicate layer of
champagne-gold on lavender-gray surfaces. Slight softness shows on
the central devices, and but only traces of wear can be seen on the
device high points and ample original mint luster remains.(Registry values: N991)From The Bob Hastings Collection.
