Description

1919-D Half Dollar, MS63
Challenging Denver Issue

1919-D 50C MS63 PCGS. The 1919-D is the rarest date in the Walking Liberty half dollar series at the Gem level, making slightly lower-grade Uncirculated pieces highly sought after. This Select example displays satiny luster with light champagne toning and russet freckles in the margins. Moderate central strike weakness is typical of the date, and a couple ticks in the right obverse field serve as pedigree markers.(Registry values: N2998)
