Magnificent MS64+ 1919-D Half
1919-D 50C MS64 PCGS Secure. CAC. The 1919-D half dollar ranks among the most prized Walking Liberty condition rarities, both in high-end circulated grades and across the Mint State spectrum. MS64 is the last grade accessible to more than a handful of collectors, as PCGS has certified just 11 coins finer (8/10). This Choice example is frosty with elements of orange, gold, and pink toning over parts of the silver surfaces. Softly struck on the high central devices, as commonly seen, but with few individually significant marks. A handful of fine abrasions in the right obverse field contribute to the grade. Great eye appeal for a coin not designated as a Gem.(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24PZ, PCGS# 6578, GSID# 6719)
