Description

1919-S Half Dollar, Choice Uncirculated
Very Scarce at This Grade Level

1919-S 50C MS64 PCGS. This San Francisco issue claims a mintage of 1.5 million coins -- fairly unremarkable for the series, and the highest total of the three mints in 1919. Nevertheless, examples are unquestionably among the most conditionally challenging coins in the series. Frosty luster emanates from the brilliant surfaces of this Gem, cascading over well-struck motifs with a hint of high-point indistinctness. Minimally abraded for the Choice assessment.(Registry values: N4719)
