Description
1920 Walking Liberty Half Dollar, MS65
Underrated Early Issue
1920 50C MS65 PCGS. CAC. This is one of the surprising dates
in the early Walker series. The mintage exceeded 6 million coins,
yet only 0.00002% of the mintage has been certified as Gem or finer
quality by PCGS. This particular Gem has light gold and iridescent
toning over satiny luster on the obverse, with extremely heavy
russet toning over the entire reverse. Although the central details
are a trifle weak, the overall quality is exceptional.Ex: Central States Signature (Heritage, 5/2007), lot 2985.
