1921-D 50C AU58 PCGS....
Description
1921-D Half Dollar, AU58
Low-Mintage Denver Key
1921-D 50C AU58 PCGS. Satiny luster enlivens the fields and
design recesses, and only a brush of friction is apparent over the
high points of the devices. Softness on the eagle's trailing leg
and Liberty's head and skirt is from an incomplete strike rather
than wear in circulation. A small reed mark in the right obverse
field below the T serves as a pedigree marker. The 1921-D boasts a
scant mintage of only 208,000 coins and is one of the top three key
dates in the Walking Liberty half dollar series. This is an
attractive example for the grade.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24R7, PCGS# 6584, Greysheet# 6723)
