1921-D Half Dollar, VF35
CAC-Endorsed Denver Mint Key

1921-D 50C VF35 PCGS. CAC. The Denver branch mint struck a series-low 208,000 half dollars in 1921, a year which saw dramatic production decreases from all locations. The Treasury focused on a daunting task that year -- the three mints struck just under 87 million Morgan dollars per conditions of the Pittman Act. Mint State halves are challenging, with Gems scarce and finer pieces rarely seen. This lightly circulated VF35 key-date displays original pewter-gray patina, smooth surfaces, and wonderful eye appeal.(Registry values: N991)
