1923-S Walking Liberty Half, AU58
Remarkably Lustrous and Well-Preserved
1923-S 50C AU58 PCGS. CAC. The casual observer would never
know that this 1923-S half dollar is not Mint State -- it is
lustrous, brilliant, and minimally abraded. The only high-point
friction seems to be slide marks, perhaps from an album page, seen
with a 10x power loupe at certain angles. The strike is typically
weak in the centers, as normal for the 1923-S. CAC: 21 in 58, 48
finer (12/25).Ex: Dallas Signature (Heritage, 10/2019), lot 3705.(Registry values: N991)
