1923-S Half Dollar, MS63
Ideal Collecting Grade
1923-S 50C MS63 PCGS. Many collectors consider MS63 to be
the optimum collecting grade for the early Walking Liberty half
dollars, representing attractive coins and a nominal price when
compared to the next few grade levels. According to the PCGS Price
Guide, an MS64 1923-S half dollar is valued 25% higher than this
MS63, and an MS65 is nearly five times the price of this Select
Mint State piece. Both sides are fully brilliant and highly
