Description
1927-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar, MS64
Strong Mint Luster
1927-S 50C MS64 PCGS. The 1927-S Walking Liberty half dollar
boasts a fairly small mintage of 2.4 million pieces, and examples
in high grade can only be located with patience. Vibrant mint
luster and wisps of gold toning adorn the smooth surfaces of this
Choice Mint State specimen. The strike is a little soft on the
central devices, not surprising since the 1927-S is one of the most
poorly struck issues of the series. From The Helen Gates Kirk Collection.(Registry values: N1793)
