Description

1933-S Walking Liberty Half, MS67
None Certified Finer

1933-S 50C MS67 PCGS. CAC. The 1933-S Walking Liberty half dollar is the last of the early series dates. It was a well-produced issue in general, but it is rare at the MS67 grade level, the finest grade recorded. This delightful Superb Gem displays vivid shades of sea-green and amber toning, mixed with lighter highlights of lavender on both sides. The design elements are moderately well-detailed, with a touch of separation between Liberty's thumb and finger on the branch hand and some of the usual softness on the eagle's leg. Vibrant mint luster shines through the toning. An essential Registry Set candidate in this top state of preservation. Population: 16 in 67 (1 in 67+), 0 finer. CAC: 9 in 67, 0 finer (11/18).
