Description

1933-S Walking Liberty Half, MS67
Beautifully Struck and Preserved

1933-S 50C MS67 PCGS. The 1933-S is among the best-struck San Francisco issues in the series. This example beautifully exhibits that quality, with full detail on Liberty's head and branch hand, and also on the eagle's trailing leg. Glistening, frosty mint luster with near-brilliant color further accentuates this coin's dramatically eye-appealing appearance and cartwheel effect.

The other hallmark of this piece is its lofty MS67 grade, which places it among the finest examples of the date known. The 1933-S is rare this fine, and for the Registry collector no lesser example will do for a competitive standing in the PCGS Set database. Population: 19 in 67 (3 in 67+), 0 finer (6/23).(Registry values: N2998)
