Description
Superb Gem 1933-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar
1933-S 50C MS67 PCGS. This is an issue of the depression, and is one of the best struck of all Walkers issued up to that point. This example is sharply defined, as expected, with a full thumb. The surfaces have brilliant and frosty silver luster with exquisite russet, blue, and iridescent toning. If one had to find fault, and it is hard to do so, a small blemish is visible in the right obverse field. This is one of few Superb Gem MS67 coins certified by PCGS. Population: 7 in 67, 0 finer (9/04).(#6591) (Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24RE, PCGS# 6591, GSID# 6730)
