Description
Magnificent 1934-D Half Dollar, MS66
1934-D 50C MS66 PCGS. This Premium Gem projects magnificent eye appeal resulting from ebullient luster, impeccably preserved surfaces, and sharply struck devices. The latter include excellent detail on the branches and adjacent thumb, the skirt lines, and the eagle's breast and leg feathers. Only Liberty's head is weak, a common occurrence on the '34-D, even when other elements are sharp. Whispers of gold color are visible at the borders. PCGS and NGC have seen a mere three pieces finer (10/09).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24RG, PCGS# 6593, GSID# 6731)
